In the last decade, the city of Louisville has seen unprecedented increases in shootings and homicides. 2020 became Louisville's deadliest year on record, and 2021 have proven to continue that trend. In order to put these increases in shootings and homicides in perspective, Pegasus Institute has created our "Homicide Clock", a shocking reminder of the seriousness of these crimes and the extent of this problem.
This data will be updated weekly to reflect changes in homicides and shootings in Louisville.
